UK Launch of COP26 Private Finance Agenda
02/27/2020The outgoing Governor of the Bank of England has announced the launch of the COP26 Private Finance Agenda. In January this year, Mark Carney was appointed as Finance Adviser for COP26 to assist the U.K. Government to build a sustainable financial system that supports the transition to a net zero emissions economy. Andrew Bailey will replace Mr. Carney as the Governor of the Bank of England from March 16, 2020. The objective of the COP26 Private Finance Agenda is for every professional financial decision to take climate change into account.
