UK FCA confirms extension of hearing date of motor finance legal challenge

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has updated its webpage to announce that the Upper Tribunal has extended the hearing of the legal challenges to its motor finance redress scheme. The hearing, originally listed for 16 to 26 February 2027, will now run from 16 February to 3 March 2027. This follows the FCA’s earlier announcement in October, which also included guidance for lenders.
