ESMA withdraws guidelines on MiFID II/ MiFIR obligations on market data
23 February 2026The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has announced the immediate withdrawal of its guidelines on MiFID II/MiFIR obligations relating to market data, on the basis that the clarifications covered in the guidelines have been incorporated into regulatory technical standards (RTS) which entered into force on 23 November 2025.
