Council of the EU publishes comparison tables on SFDR 2.0

The Council of the EU has published a note with a three-column comparison table on the European Commission's (EC's) proposal for a Regulation amending the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (SFDR) and Regulation (EU) 1286/2014 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs Regulation), and repealing Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1288 (SFDR RTS), known as the SFDR 2.0 proposal. The table presents, side-by-side, the negotiating positions taken by the EC, the European Parliament (EP) and the Council. The table has been published in advance of the trilogue phase which is due to begin in October and follows the mandates adopted by the EP in September and the Council earlier in June.
