Christopher Woolard Appointed as Interim Chief Executive of UK Conduct Authority
01/24/2020Christopher Woolard has been appointed Interim Chief Executive of the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority from March 16, 2020. Mr. Woolard is currently the Executive Director of Strategy and Competition and an Executive member of the FCA's Board. He will take on the role when the current FCA Chief Executive Andrew Bailey becomes Governor of the Bank of England. HM Treasury will be running an open process for the role of permanent CEO in due course.
